This is the sound track from the movie. Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon bring to life the story of musical legend Johnny Cash and the love of his life, June Carter Cash, in "Walk the Line" written and directed by James Mangold. Not only are Phoenix and Witherspoon winning over critics for their portrayals of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, they're also impressing audiences with their singing ability. Director Mangold felt "Walk the Line" needed to be as realistic as possible so he asked both actors to perform the songs in the film. Their efforts are part of the soundtrack CD to the biopic released by 20th Century Fox and Wind-Up Records.
