Finishing # 7 on Canadian Idol, Karen-Lee Batten releases her début independent release. Working alongside Tom McKillip, (Aaron Pritchett), Karen-Lee released her début album “Every Moment” in 2006. Spring 2008 “Hearts on the Run” became her 4th single release from the album, paired with an independently funded music video receiving airplay on CMT. A feat that only few before her have ever accomplished. With a CMT music video under her belt and the growing inspiration of a dynamic team including writers, producers and engineers from Vancouver, Toronto and Nashville, BC’s sweetheart is now heading back into studio to pull together a solid new project for 2009.
