CDEP Canberra based recording artist Kelly Cooper has grown up performing and listening to country music. After being introduced into the country scene, it didn’t take long for people to start taking notice, and she is now getting the attention she deserves. In 2004 she was a top 10 finalist in the Victorian and National Country Music Awards. 2005 has seen Kelly concentrate on her recording, working with noted producer Roger Corbett at his Valley Studio, for her 5 track EP which has just been released. Kelly teams up with Billy Bridge to record ‘Stumblin’ In’ with a decided country, feel together with some other strong songs. The first single, ‘Are You With Me’ is a hooky offering – lashings of pedal steel and a great vocal from Kelly, and the video clip by Ross Wood is soon to hit the screens.
