On August 1, 2008, The Slim Dusty Family performed the last concert on their successful Reunion Tour in Canberra. The Slim Dusty Family "Live In Concert" DVD captures that final and historic concert tour performance and will be released Saturday October 25.

Joy McKean also managed to orchestrate the Travelling Country Band coming out of retirement exclusively for this family tour! Also included on the DVD are some special performances by young and exciting Bush Balladeer and 2008 Golden Guitar Award winner, Amos Morris.
In January 2008 (Tamworth) The Slim Dusty Family announced they would release their debut album, Reunion. Three months later came the announcement that all three generations of the Dustys would head off in July on their first Australian Tour and now comes the release of that special tour, "Live In Concert" the DVD.
The Slim Dusty Family Reunion album debuted at #1 on the national ARIA Country Chart and stayed at #1 for 6 weeks! The 23 date (9000 Kms) Reunion concert tour proved to be one of the most successful Australian country music tours by any Aussie act for many, many years.
